| Body help
Hello all I am new to the scale rc scene and have a question. I picked up a scx10 (really it is a ax10 converted) and am having issues with the body. The guy I bought it off gave me a proline Jeep wrangler body and it seems to be sitting to low. I am pretty sure I already have the extended rear body posts and it still is to short. Also the front seems a little low to me as well. any tips would be appreciated.

Hi mate, you'll get plenty of help, but we're really gonna need pictures to properly understand your issue.

Well I solved the problem myself, being a noob I did not take in account that the guy I bought it off included 2.2 tires which is fine. So I had some spare body mounts laying around and drilled them out so I could glue them to my body mounts. Worked great, might be a bit flimsy but it will be fine for now until I get a new body. (not a jeep fan)

also looks like your links need to be shortened up to center your rear wheel in your wheel well, cant tell about the front, but it will help some, untill you get bigger shocks, or smaller tires, with 2.2's and stock shocks the body will always interfeer with the tires, you have a couple solutions, something like you did extend the body higher, but that will let your frame show more, smaller tires to give you more clerance from the wheel and wheel wells, or taller shocks which will also give you the clerance you will need, but if you do get bigger shocks your going to run into caster issue, as well as depending on how big shocks you get, your driveline might bind, you will just have to do some trial and error! let us know if you decide to do something else other than what you would do
