That looks sick.
How does it handle in that terrain?

So how do you like them? Worth the cost?

They would certainly be fun for snow runs and to stand out from the crowd for sure . . .

Hey guys,

Thanks for all the comments.

Overall they are awesome. They travel quite well, ive only had one track come off but it was with the help of a mean vine while hiking. I can tell you that the quality is amazing! They definitely weren't made in some guys basement, but RC4WD usually has some nice stuff. They dont really climb as well as I thought they would, i think they would however the front axle conversions dont allow the tracks to flex as much as the rear so it try its hardest some times but cant seem to go straight up an obstacle, they track begin so slip simply because and cant hit the angle of the object flat enough. The track it self could use a little work on the tread, they are quite flat, they have a tread design however they are all the same height and would act flat and not pull in a bind, I bought an extra set and will modify them by maybe removing the tread on the track and cutting and glueing an more aggressive tread from another tires, some sedona or some rover tread would be just sick!
The last thing they need to work on is the ability of shimming the track tread. The track slips when it gets in a heavy bind as of now, I mean heavy not light and it could do much better IMO if the track was tighter, I can see an easy mod of simply wrapping the traveling wheels(wheels at the bottom) with some sort of tape or just replacing them with larger wheels to fix this issue, however for 305 dollars a set I would expect them to come with their own system. Ok, thats all the negative out of the way, but all quite fixable, you can dremel out the front conversion to give the front more play, modify the track tread with your own quite easily and shimmy the wheels with tape to give you that extra tight track if need be. I can say they are AWESOME IN THE SNOW!!! WOW so cool to see them throwing snow and watching them work. They climb over all quite well and move up a hill and rocks with ease, giving you hit it at an angle. Did I mention they are AWESOME to watch work, everytime I drive it I get that this is so freakin kewl smile on my face. I will get a Vid up ASAP for you guys. Everyone notices them, they all look at it like what the heck are those haha. I have not tested them with a brushless system however they are running at abot 10 miles an hour now with now issues at all, travel on ice very well and I could just go on an on but Ill leave it as this. Out of the box I give them a 7.5 out of 10. With the 3 mods I mentioned theyd definitely be a 10 out of 10.

Hope this helps,

If you look just behind the front fixed wheels you will see that there is a track tensioning system. We are just waiting for the shims to be made so we can add them to the store. I would not advise modifying the front adapters to allow the tracks to rotate around the axle too much, you might affect the steering ability.

cool.. how do they do over rocks & obstacles and such? I would imagine they dont grip onto stuff like a tire would. They sure look cool though!

Ok, I see it,

I do believe we should have recieved something like this in the purchase of the tracks, they are on the pricey side. I dont think I should have to spend more just to adjust the tension on a 305 dollar set of tracks IMO. Dont get me wrong, they are very kewl and inventive however, the tension adjusters for all 4 are prob gonna cost atleast 50 dollars no? Thats a guess. Anyway Katan next question is, y doesnt the front track flex as much as the rear to go up and over things?

Very neat and pricey. I would like to see them in deep snow and loose sand.

Hi any problems with your bearings? I have less than 5 hours on mine
and today I had two bearings go out and twisted my front drive shaft.
