I can't compare the two rigs, but the electronics will work in either truck.

It's not a lot better, it's a lot different. Both fun and capable.

I recently bought a cc-01 uninmog then a dingo and robbed the elec. out of unimog and for my app they are great. tamiya speedo and silver can has lots of power and wheel speed is pretty good. Def not gonna dump more money into this vehicle. I think that you will be very happy as am i with the tamiya stuff plus why not use it.

little background guys. he is deciding between buying a Dingo, and modding his current CC-01 to have t-rex 60 axles front and rear. he started a thread in the cc-01 section and we finally got it through to him that just buying a dingo would look and perform much better than doing a SAS on his cc-01.

so the question he is asking is:

scx-10 dingo, or chop up my cc-01 and buy t-rex axles (and try to make them work with very very limited rc experience and zero ability to use google/search function)?

we advised him that he would be happier buying a dingo.
