Default Saggy front end on new RTR

I just bought my RTR SCX10 Honcho and noteiced after mounting the battery that the front end is very heavy and the rear isn't. The result is a somewhat saggy front end and clearly more load on the front suspension than the rear. From what I can tell, the shocks are not adjustable (aside from the dampening disks). Is there anything I can do to improve this sag?

As far as I know all the scx10 have threaded adjusters .. They are usually threaded so far up they look almost like their not there.. If you pull the spring down with your fingers you'll see the threaded shock bodies..

As previously mentioned, your shocks should be dual rate. Your shock body should be threaded and the top seat for the upper coil spring can be used to adjust the preload of the shock.

Ah, good info guys - I apologize, but I couldn't locate adjustment earlier.
I assumed because it was the RTR, the suspension was not adjustable.
Thanks!

My RTR just arrived today as well and i had the same deal.... and they are definitely threaded (all the way up)... i had to thread em down pretty far to even out the suspension front and back.

run it drooped. keeps your COG lower and still allows full range of articulation

set the preload on the front shocks to make up for the added weight of the battery

Good advice..that. I just tightened up the spring and I have half the articulation now. Maybe there's an in-between spot that'll be perfect, but it seems the weight of the battery, motor and servo, all up front are going to have this effect no matter what.
I'd rather have droop than loss of motion.
I took some pix for reference - though it's hard to see in the pic. Use the horizontal lines of the cabinet for reference.

BEFORE (sag):

AFTER (lifted):

And some picture whoring
