Dingo kit 14 light buckets?

I am looking for the light buckets. I just built my Dingo but unless I am blind there is not 14 light buckets?

Man I may have to call Axial on monday. The web site says 14 light buckets as does the box. I bought my original SCX10 when they first came out. It has beadlock wheels and alum upper links, yeah its still 3 link but the upper are alum. not plastic. Dont get me wrong I do like the Dingo but I want my light buckets and will buy beadlocks.

LMK what u find out. I just looked at the box, I got the "new" kit but it doesn't say anything about extra light buckets tho...

EDIT: My kit was missing parts from jump. Had to go to the lhs to get hardware in order to start putting it together.

Are you counting the four in the bumpers?

I have the 2 little ones in each bumper then the 2 larger that mount on the front bumper thats 6 the only 6 I see

Sent Axial customer support an e-mail so we will see. I hope they will just send me the light buckets and lens.

I only have 6 light buckets in my Dingo kit as well, 2 in each bumper, An the Fog lights for the front bumper .

I got a responce. They say the 14 buckets are from a discontinued kit. So I guess I just ignore what is says on their web site and on the side of my box!

i know i was kinda looking forward to them on the dingo i just got.

also in the pic it shows the oragen one with light buckets, and the kit just comes w/ sticker s :(

Cut a corner here, cut a corner there...eventually people catch on and move to products that offer more value for their $. That value is what attracted me to my SCX10, which I love, but those cut corners have me looking elsewhere for my next purchase.

Your worried about getting skimped on light buckets?

I flipped when I put together my SCX kit over a year ago and it had plastic balls for the rod ends! And they had the nerve to charge $300 for a Wraith "builders kit" and it too had stupid little plastic balls...

And each axial trans I've assembled over the last three years has had more slop in the upper shaft than the last. My Wraith required almost 1/8 worth of shims to keep the spur from moving back and forth. My original AX-10 kit required none.

Is Axial just not paying attention to what lasts and what doesn't?

The biggest thing that bugs me about their cutting back on the dingo kits was the freakin box it came in. Glossy, 4 color, printed inside and out. Hell even the insert was printed. I went to school for graphic design and I know that they paid a bit to have those boxes made. If they want to cut corners start with the packaging not the effing product!
