| On Off Switcch
I received my Trail Honcho today. I have a few questions/concerns. The on/off switch isn't attached to anything and it appears that only one screw holds the battery tray in place and the tray seems quite loose. Also, theres two green things in the parts bag, lol. Anyone know what the on/off switch should attach to, should the battery tray be better secured, and what are the green things?!

I am assuming this is the RTR setup? Perhaps snap a pic so we can take a closer look at your on/off switch issue. Green things: do they look like tennis balls cut in half with like a tire tread on the them? those are gate markers. ie marking out a trail / course. battery tray should hvae 2 screws if i recall correctly. Titus is correct about both the gate markers and the battery tray mounting screws. As far as the on/off switch is concerned, it doesnt come attached to anything so that you have the option to locate it where ever you want. All you need is some double-sided tape and it will stick anywhere you want. Congrats on your new rig and WELCOME TO THE SCALER ADDICTION!! It's a sickness that is shared by many and loved by all! |

Ok good. I know what the green things are and I know about the on/off switch. My battery plate however only has only 1 screw in it and the thing leans right to left. I'll tinker with it, Im sure thats all it needs.

Should be three screws holding the plastic part to the chassis and 2 screws holding the aluminum plate to that part. Look at page 33 http://docs.axialracing.com/instruct...honcho-rtr.pdf Last edited by Big Daddy; 02-16-2012 at 06:01 AM. |
