Default Can I use all my batteries?

I am rather new to RC cars, in comparison to most. I am currently overseas as well and bought an SCX10 Honcho almost as soon as I got to Kuwait. I also have a Taxxas slash, but it spends more time broken then it does running. I only have one battery for my SCX10, and thats the one that came with is from Tower hobbies. But I have 4 for my Slash. The range from 2500 mah, to 5000 mah, at 7.2 volts. If I change the connector on my SCX can I run the same batteries in both my trucks? Thanks

yup as long the connector on the rig is the same as the batteries.. so the female side of the same style plug.

assuming the batts are lipo your gonna need a lipo cutoff on the scx10.. if they are nimh/nicad then you dont need a cutoff.

If he's got an RTR Honcho with the AE-2 it has lipo cut off built in.

On Axials website it says you can if you use a BEC. I know some people have run their AE-2 on 3s without problems and others have fried it that way. I use 2s on mine and have no issues. If you can go to lipo, do it. I get like 40 minutes on my little 1300 2s lipo, I was getting about 25 minutes on a 1500 NiMH. Some guys I rc with get 4+ hours out of 5000 mah Lipo.

Another option is to buy an adapter so you don't have to change the connector.

Better off to change the plug than use an adapter.

I agree, I was just giving him another option in case he doesn't/can't solder.
He'd also have to change plugs on his original battery and charger if he still wants to use them.

I bought an adapter. I know that it isn't the best way to do it. But I am still deployed to kuwait, so it is the easiest way to do it with my limited access to tools.
