| Toyota FJ Cruiser SCX10's first summer!
I went 4-wheeling today and decided to take the FJ scx10 along with me.. So this is pretty much the first time I've actually taken out the FJ since the snow melted...First time it's seen dirt, rocks, mud, sand...etc Pics! . |

Great looking little rig. I saw the pics from "today" with the snow in them. And thought to myself "What does this guy live in Alaska or something, to still have snow"? Then I saw your location under your name. It has been a weird spring here with one week back at the end of February/ beginning of March that was in the 80's all week (broke the record by about 40 degrees). We had another few days about a month ago where it hit 90 on one of them. It is going to be a nasty summer. No snow to melt this spring and constant fire hazards/warnings because of it. Love the FJ though. Looks just "right" the way it is. Some rigs you spend all kinds of money and paint and customization but it just never seems right for some reason. Could be the paint, or how you trim the wheel wells to how the bumpers fit, etc. Something just makes it off. But your FJ just looks like it belongs. |

Just a heads up, those posts on the rear axle aren't strong enough to support links without at least a tie bar across the top. Do the right thing and make a 4 link plate for them. Your cruiser looks sic by the way. |
