Ok, well with some grinding and some flat black I think I am going to stick with this cage. Now do you guys like the back seat, or the tool box with scale junk?

Side plates are getting close, I am planning on welding a rocker guard and rear flare to them next. I also need to trim off the stock tail lights to finish wrapping the sheet metal around the back.

Well, after a few late nights it's pretty much done. The only things left on the to do list is finding a home for the rx and esc, and I need to fab a rear body mount. I may tackle cutting the hood to do a high front fender. I know these big tires will rub front and rear. So some trimming may be in order as well. But for now enjoy the poser pics.

Thanks Man, couldn't of done it without your body!

I am happy with it too, I was debating on painting the sides a different color like silver or something. I may just wait until the black is all scratched off then repaint it.

Thanks guys

Here's last nights work. Mounted the ESC and made some inner fenders. Made a rear body mount, Also cut the front fenders off and cut the hood in preparation for tube fenders. Still need to find a safe home for the rx. We are planning on a scale run tomorrow. Can't wait to see how it does. I don't really like the rear droop but unless I cut the back of the jeep out there is no other options. I also threw my 1.9 boggers on a second set of axial bl wheels with mthead rings.

This is great insipration for my build. I have had this body sitting around for over a year cut and sanded, just need to work on the extension. Can I ask what you used to bond the styrene to the new bright body? From searching it seems like there are mixed opinions on what works on these bodies. Thanks

Thank you, I justed used styrene glue I had from the lhs and I used some glue from crawler innovations for the underside. The metal side plates with be the strength.

Copy away

We had a small scale run today, I was really happy with the LJ, besides the stock ax10 drive shaft popping off the yolk from the t-case everything was good. Here are some crappy cell phone pictures.

I hope I didn't catch anything from this little dirty girl
