I use these from Hobby Lobby International. Click here for more info. I use a Hand Bros CMS with a FatBatt Electronics Winch Tray for SCX10 from BOWTIE--one lying down (as pictured below), or two standing side by side. Here is my set-up. Green velcro tie-down will secure one or two batteries. No fitment issues with this set-up. |

I use a fairly large/heavy battery - a 5000mAh hard-cased Dynamite Speedpack LiPo, and used to run my battery vertically like btoungette pictured, after I did my CMS. It worked pretty well until I started doing more mods and changed things up for better COG: now my electronics are setup like this and although it has a lower COG and a much better visual appearance, I do sometimes miss having the extra weight over that front right tire as it helped keep it planted when crawling up steep inclines (torque twist). Planning to solve this someday with a servo winch opposite steering servo |

was thinking about getting a couple of these... Sky Lipo 2650mAh 7.4V 30C as they seem to be close the dimensions of the batterys u guys r using Never thought about running soft lipos in a scaler...figured they would get beat up easier than the hard case lipos i was running |
