Default SCX10 Brutus LR3

Have been building this scx10 since i bought her. Done alot of modifications to her since rtr stock. Originally, bought myself a Honcho RTR kit but decided to modify it as the original diffs became worn and parts started to break.

When it was brand new

First outing! Mud Bath!

Then bought two LR3 kits... Bought them from Kmart USA and shipped them to a family friend. Then onto "down under" This is how the first attempt turned out...Since this one, I sold the shell to a mate and ventured onto the burgendy one.. You will see below as we go.... How she did look..

We then did a little run within Laka Parramatta Reserve. Was an awesome outing! See below

New Roof Rack...

Also - Decided to black out the windows to the cabin. The interior cracked straight down the middle as i was dremeling the spur gear hole.. so no interior on this one

Cut the front for a RC4WD bull bar..

Bought the LED Light bar from RC4WD - It came with bracketry but I didn't like how weak they were. Made two different brackets ...

Decided to go with version 1 as it doesnt elevate the bar and still would use the stock bracetry.

This is how it turned out

Fabricated some custom bracketry for the diffs and utilized some aluminum I had for the battery relocation and esc/tx box!

Tyres mounted and all lined up...

Didnt like the angle of the above links so i made these

Custom mounted the winch to the bull bar aswell.. Shes getting there

With the winch, i couldnt fit the body on with the front grille so I used some guttering mesh for a grille..

Decided to take the TF2 design to the SCX10 and it turned out awesome! New shocks aswell 110mm RC4WD

Needed to set up the battery and esc etc.. Heat Shrinked all the wiring aswell to be STEALTH!

And this is her now...

Your steering wheel is on the wrong side of your car.

I like. Rovers are not common around here.

For most of the run, My truck was very under powered. We put it down to the heat but nobody else was having as many problems as i was. The motor got so hot you couldnt touch it...

I figured out that with the tf2 shit positioning, the body was constantly hitting the wheels on flex ... So i had to cut the arches off and re-position the rubber flares...

Now she is flexin like a bossss!!!

Had a mate paint the cabin and I did the rest with stock honcho parts...

She calls it.... "Fifi" lol
