Hey guys,
Well, I'm looking for som axels and came across the AsiaTees and found a couple of shafts. One is for the wriath, which are mip 's I believe, the other is for the scx10 which are steel versions of the stock tr's. So if you guys could give any advice, that would be great
Thx

I have ordered parts from Asiatees before, same parts as yeah racing, 3 racing, Venom, etc. Except asia tees is much cheaper. Never had issues with the parts I bought.

If your going for drive shafts be smart and make Maxx shafts. Im not sure if the general public is lazy or just forgot about these, but they are the best thing you can do for a crawler if you are on budget.

Maxx shafts are large plastic shafts from the 2.5tmaxx. Mip's are metal.

My only issue with maxx shafts is the od can get in the way, but they are tough. Mips have been mostly bulletproof for almost the same form factor as stockers.

Except every time I am at a scale comp at least one person looses a pin out of an MIP.

I have never had issues with Traxxas Maxx shafts weather that be clearance or breakage, the OD is bigger but really not that much. I have put Maxx shafts on every rig I have built for the last 5 years and every power source from 5700kv brushless motors too 45 turn hand wound motors.

Here is a comparison photo, on the front is a Traxxas 2.5 Maxx shaft on the rear is a Stock Wraith drive shaft. Not a huge difference.

A lost pin from an mip is a U.O.E., a flat ground onto the crosspin for the set screw helps immensely. Can't remember the last time I lost one.
