If you tighten that clutch down all the way it shouldn't slip anymore.

How much risk do you run on burning out the motor without a slipper? I'm running a 35t tekin but plan on getting a 45t or 55t also.

There is risk burning up a motor with or with out a slipper ... Only way to not break shit it to not use it and I plan to use mine..

I'm not having problems slipping I just don't see a huge need for a slipper.. I'm not really gonna do much crawling just more trail runs and minimal crawl stuff.. I just wanna eliminate the clipper so it's one less thing to break or fail..

But can someone direct me towards what I need to get to do it please?

if you wanna tighten the slipper all the way then tighten the big black nut on the end of the slipper shaft. Tighten it all the way down until it stops. You'll get much less slipping if any at all.

An alternative is maybe to pull the slipper apart and glue the two slipper sides together (they are just under the spur gear on the spur shaft, have a little rubber pad between them which is what slips) and glue the rubber to the other side, then reassemble. Never tried that though

Also by eliminating the slipper, it will probably cause other things to break/fail more often, just my 2 cents

I agree. The slipper clutch is there to help not to hinder. I think you'll be chasing the next weakest link a lot.

not really,both my rigs doesn't have slipper clutch,and i didn't break anything,at highs speed or at high torque stress,but yes it's true,i'm runing a 32 pitch setup,and MIP shafts,robindon gears,so it's almost imposible to break something

Should you spin one of the plastic spur adapters try this:

I, too, prefer a locked up tranny...

I've run mine tight all the way down . If you beat it stupid you'll break parts! The scx10 even stock is not all that easy to destroy.
