I do not think they fit. Someone a couple years ago created a remote locking diff if I remember correctly. I believe he was from Greece or France... If you spend some time searching you may find the thread. |

Venom creeper lock/unlock system was horribly weak. Not worth the effort.

The Creeper was more of a "Remote Locking / Automatic Unlocking" type of system. It seemed like a good idea on paper, but the execution left a lot to be desired. I'd be very suspicious of the unit in the picture above. Trying to get that type of functionality in the scale we work with is asking a lot. It might work for awhile, but I see JB Weld in that unit's future. |

I had a system at one point in my SCX10 that had cut driveshafts up front and used a home made shifting fork to couple and un couple the driveshafts giving 2wd or 4wd. Not quite locking diffs but easier to do.

Or you could do a limited slip diff.

I've been experimenting with WAX... Its fairly locked (99%) up when I'm crawling and when I'm bashing the diff seems to generate heat and open it up the diff... In accelerated landings (on the throttle on a landing) it seems like it adsorbs instant inertia of the spider gears.. Multi-viscosity diff fluid.. Here's a video of the mod https://youtu.be/p69Q4EPcl-Y I have high speed runs and crawling videos of the mod in action... I'm FAR from Lucas Engineering lol To bad someone wouldn't effectively accomplish my goal.. But I was Happy with my mod (8-10 runs) ...testing is on hold because of other projects but I will continue to run it in my front diff... Jb weld in the rear.. Just my 2 cents |
