Rpp's service rocks! Haven't we learned that by now?

I just installed this roof rack. I was debating between this one and the PL one. I am very happy with the product and the looks is perfect. If i could make a suggestion for possible future runs. The floor bars need to be closure together or just more of them. Mounting and tying items that are smaller than squares was a PITA. My last two orders with RPP have been excellent. Fast service and delivery.

I just ordered mine today and I am worried about the same thing, that mounting small items will be difficult. I am thinking about making some kind of metal grate bottom for the roof rack.

Could you post a flex shot with those shocks. I am looking at getting them if they flex alot better than the stock shocks. BTW, The rig looks great!

@ buddamonk Your rig is insane. Very nice. The Rampage bumper is in my wish list at RPP. Waiting to break the stock one or when i do a winch.

@ uclabruins89 After the first roll the gas tank departed rather quickly. I think i will get one of those mesh paper holder things at Staplez and cut it out. I will need to get longer mounting hardware. Maybe a project this weekend.

Let me know how that goes, I'll be looking for some material to make it out of, and the mesh holder may be just what I need.

As an update, the company does sell replacements, you have to contact them directly. So basically ten bucks down the drain for the window and a new decal every time it breaks..

That totally sucks that it broke but with the thickness i would believe it. When mine does, I'll just make one out of aluminum and the rack will break before that does. Don't forget to add the $12 for the free advertisement stickers anyone would put on.

yeah they'll send it for $7 shipped but then like you said another $12 or so for the "Thule" sticker plus shipping... I'm looking into alternative roof racks before getting a replacement. This roof rack is great if you never roll. But if you never roll then you're not really using your truck for some serious rock crawling haha

At first only one side cracked, went crawling again tonight and it broke completely off. Here's a pic. I think I'll be buying a different roof rack thats more durable.
