To be quite honest, you could just buy a honcho for cheaper, and get a Rubicon Body...

Like everyone else.

So your saying spend near $370 for a rtr honcho and then $50 for the wrangler body and 25+ for paint? And thats gonna save money?

HMMM.....spend 450 to buy a honcho and convert it or buy the wrangler for 410 and it also comes with the ps bumpers......i think i would just buy a rtr wrangler. And yes there pretty damn cool.

Just get the scx10! You won't regret it! It's up to you how much you want spend. I read from a member(can't remember who) here who said the maxxis tires on the scx10 jeep work a better than the Ripsaws and some current tires on the market.

He probably meant a used honcho. I've bought an awesome artr kit honcho for $275. Practically new. But technically used. Get an even more used one and hou're talking low $200 sometimes.

If I was you, I would fasho get the wrangler. You wouldn't have to worry about converting anything and like you said earlier it comes with those badass ps bumpers+flairs+the new maxxis tires all sitting with that clean jeep body n cage

Definitely get the NEW Wrangler. There is no way you can buy a new Honcho and convert it to the Wrangler for the same price or cheaper. If you buy used and then the body and parts kit maybe. But than you take the chance of getting a real used headache. From the word on the forum the NEW tires work real well. One of the only real disappointing things is the lack of beadlocks. My LHS has it right now for 359. Pretty good deal..... Hope Santa gets a good deal for me....lol
