Default mirror a scx10 transmission???

i just got a new scx10 trail honcho i wanted to know can i mirror the transmission and is it worth it and if i do it how do i get my motor to turn the right way

Search. Itll probably pop up as one of the first results.

Basically take it all apart and literally mirror it. Motor ends up pointed the same way on the other side of the tranny but it wont accept the gear cover. Dont even have to reverse the motor direction.

ok so this isnt right is it i found a forum that told me how to do it step be step but by motor is on the back side of the truck now ?????

this is the truck before i tryed to mirror it

nope that is just flipping the skid which moves motor weight back. you want motor to stay in front of vehicle. I order to mirror the tranny, you must take it apart and put it back together the opposite way if that makes any sense to you. It sounds difficult but is not at all. flipping the skid does not help with torque twist like mirroring the tranny

I used the site mentioned above to mirror mine and it helps a ton with torque twist, recommend it to anyone who hasnt yet

Flip the screw so it goes in from the inside with the nut on the outside.

i took the shorter screw from the side it was on and swapped them worked out great and love the fact that there is little torque twist now
