Default Jeep Jeep

Longtime searcher/reader, first time poster.... blah blah blah.

This tread will be dedicated towards all my projects.

I have had my scx10s (Honcho n Dingo) for more than a year I'd say and messed with them for a month when I first got them. So there they sat for pretty much a year... picked the hobby back up and wont be setting it down any time soon. I have had a steady flow of packages coming in the mail for a month now and they still keep on coming. Ordered the wrangler as soon as I saw it! As I have a Jeep Wrangler for my 1:1... it's an LJ. Prefer the old TJ body style but I'll take what I can get.

My 1:1

JK

The bumpers still need paint. Waiting for Belgium to warm up!

The little LEDs sticking out the of the headlights is temporary until I get the buckets and lens in.

More to come in the near future. I'm happy to be apart of an awesome community here! I have found so much quality info here and I figure I'll post up what I've got going.

Nice looking 1:1 and scaler. Your bumpers and light mounts are awesome. The rear lights should be more recessed though. Axial supplies the flush mount to do it properly. If I could post pictures I could be more helpful.

Thanks for the comment! I had the original rear tail lights but wanted to make them actually work with those buckets/lens. That's as flush as I could get without getting anoffset angle.

Hey thanks man. The lights are from a honcho and I made those mounts myself.

It looks like you're going through a TTC Tank Trap.

Love the windshield lights and front bumper. What is the front bumper made out of?

The bumpers are really good looking. And I like your 1:1, I have a fullsize Cherokee to go with my SCX10 Cherokee.

Both Jeeps look great. What is the back bumper made out of? I like the design of the front bumper.

Thanks fellas.

The bumpers including the windshield light mounts are all made out brass pieces, soldered together.

I plan on making different styles of bumpers in the near future. I have three other Jeep projects I am going to work on.
