| VP SCX10 CMS Kit
Thought I'd start a thread since these will be hitting the market soon (hopefully) to see what anyone knows about it. Will it include a panhard kit and will said kit work with stock scx10 axles? How ridiculous is the price going to be? |

Sound's like Mike (nissan_driver24) is one of the first to get his hands on one... for a "sneek-peek" photo click here and scroll down a bit (8th pic I think?)... looks pretty sweet |

Yea I saw that earlier today which is ultimately what prompted this thread. It looks nice, and pricey, which is exactly what I expected. Who knows what it will retail for but we all know by now that VP is a premium machiner and we must pay for that, I just hope they don't blow right by the price that the Hand Bros kit sold for. The other thing, I don't know the ins and outs of the Curries, but I hope they make a panhard and 3-link mount for stock axles as well. |

I would be more excited about the details, but unfortunately it (or any other CMS) isn't gonna work with my setup... running a Jevine battery plate with servo winch so no room |

I don't think it's a shame, the Currie axles looks awesome without a servo on top of it. | |

| Re: VP SCX10 CMS Kit Yea, but you are saying that the setup is only to be offered for the Vanquish axle owners, correct? Maybe I understood your post wrong and you were just saying that on your rig it's a Currie, I mean Vanquish housing.

What does a CMS have anything to do with what axles are used? They have the CMS for scx10's and scx10 JK's on the site. Cant ya just use one of them and make a drag link to work?

The cms on the website is just the piece that replaces the bumper holder to also hold a servo. The panhard kit is what connects a link from the axle to the cassis running parallel to the axle. The cms comes in 2 styles as there is 2 different bumper mounts being that the jk is slightly narrower (?? Could be wrong ??). The panhard kit is designed for the currie axles only but with a bit of smart thinking most could possibly be used on a standard axle just have to make your own mount on the axle. Cheers Jarrod |

| Re: VP SCX10 CMS Kit VANQUISH Axial SCX Front Bumper / CMS Mount Silver I almost ordered this, I can't see how it's specifically for currie axles, It's just a servo mounting option |

^ you can learn to drive it with out a panhard. I am 4 linked up front with a CMS (the GCM dual servo mount(fantastic piece!)) it does have bump steer, if your driving in a scale manner which is slow and controlled it is NOT a huge issue as some make it out to be. just MHO. L.R. |
