axx's jk and an alternative roof bar setup

Thought I'd show what's been done since Christmass.

Got the rtr JK scx10 (couldn't wait for the kit lol)

Weighted the wheels (just stuck them on the inside of the rims)
4 linked the front (from stock parts)
Battery up front
4mm bullet connectors
45t Holmes motor
flipped the motor 180
2nd hand steering upgrade (freebee)
flysky gt2b ($20 2nd hand )
2s lipo
Plastidip everything that needed it
Metallic blue paint on outside, some sort of beige for the interior, and satin black underneath.

Well it didn't last long stock, liked the looks of everyones rigs, but really wanted something less crowed for the roof bars. Thought about just trimming the plastic ones down, but then realised I might want it intact in case i get the hard top.

Basically had some aluminum tubing lying around, it wasn't strong enough, so slid some chopsticks in, drilled the ends, then just screwed them on with the stock screws.

Have some ss tubing, allthread, waiting for revo rod ends to do bottom links

Still need to sort shocks, rims and beadlocks, lights etc....

Pretty cool idea. The lack of intersecting bars makes it look a little wider then normal. Nice color choice too.
