Default anyone using a twin hammer tranny?

just curious. was thinking of going for a two speed tranny and thought it might be another option besides the AX-2 or summit.

Tsk....grammer Police....AX-2 or something....not summit....

Is it cheaper than the other two? I fancy a 2 speed in the future. Mine is geared quite low and a little more top-end would be nice.

to be fair i was referring to the summit tranny, not something.

i don't know about the price difference since i'm trying to work out a trade to get a twin hammer tranny. seems like people are happy with it in general and i would expect it to hold up but i wanted to see if others already have experience with it.

no problem.

the summit tranny is an option but it seems too big for my application. the twin hammers seems nice and compact.

The Summit trans is heavy and bulky but has been bullet proof for me. I've been running big power in a heavy rig with big tires for over a year now.

i have heard that was the case for the summit tranny. i don't have a big rig or tires which is what i was looking into the twin hammer.

i doubt i'm the first to consider this so i'm hoping someone else can speak to their experience. mounting, durability, etc.
