does any body have a template to make a battery tray that mounts the battery sideways by the shock towers, and mounts with a bend in it where the radio box mounts. i got the battery sitting where i want it. going to remount the radio box in the position it is now in.

I have not seen on. I would build it first out of cardboard or heavy stock paper and tape. Then transfer it to metal/styrene/etc.

just use your stock battery plate and some "L" brackets (from local hardware store) to mount it to the frame the way you want it. don't over think it, simplicity is the key to success |

With the CMS and ESC in the front you may not have enough room for the stock Axial RX box. I would take the RX out of it and mount it on its own. You can make a simple bracket like this to make it work and bolt it to the battery plate you already installed. Or even bolt a plate to the support inbetween the shock hoops and stick the RX to that. Either way just fab it up with cardboard first to see how you like it. For what its worth I waterproofed the RX itself and put it at the rear since it does not add that much weight. |

I would like too mount the receiver box in the back but, when its in place the honcho body does sit right, thats why I want it up front.
