Default Ricochet's Rubicon

Jumped on the Rubicon bandwagon the other day. Got a good deal on a new RTR. It showed up today. Got home from work, threw some batteries in it and went out to play. Got to make some changes to it on my days off but it was pretty fun out of the box.

Been awhile since I posted anything about this been busy playing with it. Haven't done much to it yet but have moved the battery up front, electronics to the rear, aand today made up some fenderwells for it. I also tried to 4 link the front end but the links would hit the servo mount so went back to 3 link for now till I get somthing figured out. One thing I noticed is I need to paint the underside black now.

Also trying to decide on wheels, The Scale Shops new Stockerz or Myhem Engineeings Re-Machined Monsters in black. Think I'm going to lose the spare and mount to. Well on to pics.

Rear wheel wells and electronics box in rear.

Front wheel wells and battery is under there to.

Front and rear side views. Think it looks a lot better except for the ZIPLOCK logo in there.

I bought the mayhem slamerz for my JK with 650 hubs. The slightly wider stance look a lot better IMO and offer mor stability.

Ok know its been awhile since I posted anything on this but been to busy running it. Got tired of the silver body so. Not sure if I'm going to leave the interior silver or go with something else.

Also waiting on parts, beef tubes, XR universals, and R2j steering kit to do the XR mod to the steering.
