Default Robinson gear problems!

I just replaced my gears cause I blew the stock ones up.. I got everything setup and put together and got to crawling... But soon realized that I had a problem.. Every time I would get under a large load I would pop a drive line off the shafts... Both front and rear do this! The set screws arnt backing out the driveline is just slipping off the shaft.. I have put a set screw on the flat side like they are designed for and also on the flat side and the rounded side as well.. I dremeled a small area for the set screw to sit in and it doesn't help either? Any ideas?

Sounds like your drive shaft yokes are getting whipped out.
Are you using any Loctite on the setscrews when you put them in?
Some blue Loctite will go a long way.

Check the angles of the driveshafts, make sure they arent at too much of an angle.
Make sure the set/grub screw is long enough. I ran into a similar issue when the set screw was a hair too short and didnt ave enough threads to get a strong grip.
Make sure there is no oil/greese on stub or in the driveshaft end.
Last but not least locktite, and let it harden overnight before use.

Plastic ends on the driveshafts? If yes you may want to switch to MIP or at least some WB8 Axial shafts with metal ends.

I don't know the Robinson gear so I'll ask a question. Is there a hole in the gear shaft that allows the pin to pass through both the drive shaft and the shaft on the gear? You did say the set screws were not backing out. On my stock set up, the threaded pin passes through both the drive shaft end and the gear shaft.
