I have 3 scx10 all have the same wheelbase within less than 1" of one another anyways. They all have oem front gears and UD rears, 35t Holmes hobbies, same escs and rx tx. Basically all setup exactly the same except that my boys has the front steering link bent out to allow more clearance of the pumpkin at full turn and a savox 1256 servo. Mine and my daughters both have the same hitec servo (big torque but I can't remember the number one of the popular ones a lot of you use) same length steering links and same knuckles. My sons and daughters have a nice tight turning radius and mine is at least a foot wider in circumference. What am I missing?

I have the throw set the same on all 3 radios. Enough to max them all out as far as all the linkages go without rubbing or over extending the throw and just twisting up the servo mount anyways.

Same xl tsl on mine and one of the others while the other has Baja claws. Same inserts. Maybe I don't have the stock dog one types but maybe different universal axles...

Universal cvds give you more steering. Are you running axial knuckles and chubs? Show us a pic of your steering at rest and full lock. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk |

ok, so i stuck my foot in my mouth here a bit for sure. i can see i have the servos setup differently and that the knuckles are all different on each one. like i said, my truck doesn't turn near as sharp as theirs. so i guess i should at least setup my servo the same as my daughters and get knuckles like hers? what's the best option i can do with what i have already? is there a simple change i can make? should i buy new knuckles? xr mod? |

You can get high throw knuckles which will make your turning better.

But I'm asking why do the top 2 of these setups turn much tighter than the last setup?

Well, the servo and links are all different. Flip your servo, so the output is on the right. Then your links to the other side. http://www.axialracing.com/assets/pr...jpg?1382723727 |

I am seeing cap head screws on one, and button head or just set screws in other two. That's good for several degrees of steering.

As far as the screws go, there's no binding or bumping going on. The knuckles never even come close to them. I will flip it and see what happens... |

Rx and Tx quality could have something to do with it as well. My old Honcho RTR system barely turns at all compared to the spektrum and tactic systems I have on the scx now. Just something else to look into.

So I flipped the servo and the links, same results. I have the throw at 120% both ways too as I did before...now what?
