Default Rubicon/any body velcro body mounts

I just bought my 2nd rubicon body (the axial one) because the other one from my kit got beat up quickly while learning to crawl and not roll over lol.

This 2nd body I would like to do velcro mounts for the front and rear to make it easier to put and remove in the field.. Can anyone post pics of their setup with velcro mounts please?? Thanks in advance

Here's how I did mine . Probably different and better ways but this works for me. (I hate body posts and clips)

The front I used Axial body post dremeled flat and drilled holes in the battery plate and then a pilot hole in the post and two course thread screws to fasten the plate. Velcro the plate and underside of hood.

For the rear I bent a piece of metal and fastened it to the shock hoops and then a piece of thick styrene for the velcro was bolted to the bracket.

This rear placement works for me because I added the ProLine fuel cell to my body and the bottom of the fuel cell is where I velcro the rear of the body to my plate.....

Gotta move that battery up front! Huge difference in crawling capabilities when its up front.

Thanks my man, I'm aware of that.

Check my Rubicon in Burgh thread and you'll see why it's in the rear.

Nah that batt in the back probably evens out the weight balance with the motor/trans up front and t-case.
The velcro body mounts always seemed to clog up on me in the past. Too much dust and they eventually got weak.
