No the title isnt a typo.... I saw Szczerba SCX Exo build and liked it a lot. So I did some trading and placed a couple of orders to RPP. Sorry I didn't take pics while building. My little niece was kept me distracted to say the least. Im running droop suspension all around. I've never run a setup like this so it will take time adjusting and tuning to my driving. I plan to get better pics soon and hopefully out on the trail. Between the weather and work I haven't been motivated. Thanks to Chaotic Crawlers for the LEDs! Never seen anything like that before! Looks awesome! May have to do that with the spare SCX chassis I have!

Thanks! It's cool in several ways. You have the buggy, rock racer, tubed trail look all in one and not as much $$$ in it. I took it out today after church to get a feel. Did ok for a long wheel base and not a lot of skid clearance. I've already started making a list of parts I need to upgrade. The axles are stock except AL knuckles & c-hubs. Thinking Axial 36/14 HD gear up front, standard HD gear rear. Grip Fab lockers front and rear, HC knuckles, knuckle weights to get it out of the wheels. |

Payed the bills and my wife gave me the go ahead. Placed an order to RPP: Axial hardened gears front and rear, misc screws I was short, some RCC decals. Now I just ordered some Grip Fab lockers. Can't wait to get this stuff in...... Oh did a simple trick to access the battery faster. I know it doesn't look as clean as bottom head screws, but they don't stick out either. |

Looks like a sic trail rig to me. You've done an excellant job of trimming just enough "fat" to make it look right. How long are you shocks? |

Looks great xigtc. I like the murdered out look. You have the battery in the same spot as mine? Here is my build thread if anyone else wants to make one. I have several build pictures. I did make some rear upperlink adjustments. Mine is 4.6lbs and kills the trail! Szczerba's SCX-EXO Sent from my thumbs. Last edited by Szczerba; 08-12-2013 at 09:02 PM. |

Finally had a chance to beat on it! It did really well for being so low and short tired, i went to a local spot today and played in the creek, did a couple of muddy rock filled hill climbs. Tires did pretty good overall. I took my wife so she could take pictures, lol but she got more of the surroundings than of the rig. Oh and some reason we kept running into snakes.
