Hello fellow SCX10 fans. So to start off, I've been in to bashing for a while now and started with a MT4 running on 5S power. That amused me for a year when I noticed that I started to get interested in watching my MT4 try to crawl (kind of) instead of flying at full speed. Met a bunch if guys locally, who had SCX10's and went for a bash with em thinking that brute horsepower would get me up the hill compared to slow and steady. Man, was I wrong! From then on I hunted down an Axial Jeep and cash changed hands. This is my build so far. I am not trying to copy any particular style, so its just my interpretation. Started out like this on my first trail http:// http:// http:// http:// http:// So as you can see, it started out like any other RTR Jeep. But now this is the direction that I'm going with it. http:// http:// http:// I'm still waiting on scale accessories to fit out with and complete the look. I'll post more as I go along. Cheers. |

Looking good so far! I think you should paint it fire engine red and decal it up. Pro-Line has a couple accessory packs you might like that can go with your theme. You can also find other cool accessory packs from RPP Hobby as well. I think you should try to get a strobe light kit to give it a really cool effect!

Thanks JetBlast, I do have a lighting kit for it with red strobe lights and angel lights for the front. I was actually going to repaint it Fire Engine red to begin with but I found a picture of a Silver Fire and Rescue Jeep on line so I went with it.

for accessories I think a batterytray (with or without the plastic) wound make a decent carry stretcher. might have to repaint it though.

That looks good! I believe RPP Hobby has a few accessories you can add. I know they have a kit with an axe that would go with your build.

I'm digging the stretcher idea! I'll have to look at a few photos of how the Lifesaver guys carry a stretcher on or in their jeeps to see where I can make it fit. I've also ordered my accessories once JetBlast recommended RPP hobbies. Great site. I'm going to get a winch from HeyOk. |

Thanks guys, ok so I have a plan for the stretcher idea that Gravebane525 mentioned and I've got myself some yellow paint and will execute this idea in the next few days. Pics to follow.

Hi, A company called Screenprintdigital in the UK did the decals. I found em on eBay. |

It would be awesome if you could find Lifeline from GI Joe for this rig I think... I'm new to this scale thing so I'm not for sure of the sizing of the Joes, but still it would be sweet1 |

Thanks for the info and just so you know while searching ebay i found alot of realistic firefighter figures with gear and everything for around $25-$35. And they come with lots of tools and gear that would look great on the rig.

Stretcher usually goes strapped on top or the cage. Looks awesome.

Pretty cool idea. Looks awesome so far... I like the decals and the light bar. I would make some hose reels out of small sewing bobbins and use flat shoe laces for hoses. Obviously you will need a fire extinguisher or two! Lots of accessory options on this and it wouldn't be over kill. Rescue trucks are packed with gear. |
