depends entirely on what type of cab you have. if you have a lexan cab, obviously it's more flimsy than a hard-body and rigid mounting can cause problems down the road (like localized tears). you can help reinforce it with mesh layered with shoegoo. many people mount their cabs with screws onto some sort of backing, like down by the rocker panels (look at a hardbody, like a hilux cab, and see the mounting holes down at the bottom) -- sometimes you can find sliders or boatside panels with mounting tabs for this type of mount. another, and probably easier solution, is to use velcro to mount your body onto some sort of rigid surface -- examples would be a flat plate across shock towers for the front and boatside mounting for the sides of the cab.

my scaler mounts with velcro on the sides of the cab, onto project boxes that house my electronics; the front is still pin mount on the shock towers.

I have the factory lexan honcho body and the hood has pins already. Just need to find a way for the back and I have no flat surfaces to mount to but Velcro is a good idea I did t think of that

Rare earth magnets are a lot stronger than you might think too - maybe look into them, I love them personally and if you happen to have a bad harddrive laying around the price is free!

most tube beds made for the honcho mount to the sides of the frame rail via some sort of tab or L type bracket.
sorry, I misunderstood the question.
