As above, we need more info, do you have any mods as this would be the first place to start, but a few things that could cause this would be, binding on your drive shaft caused be incorrect pinion angle or lift kit fitted, out of phase driveshafts if they are wild boar or similar, bad bearing in trans or diff, it could be any number of things, tell us as much about your rig as you can, what motor and esc, what shocks, lift ?, wheels/tyres ETC.

Tires been sitting a while? It could be almost like a flat spot on the tires. Or tires could have the foams bunched up on one side more than the other.Could have water in the tires if they're vented. all sorts of stuff could cause it..............Start with the easiest stuff first. Don't go chasing stuff that's way off in left field. If the tires go up and down or wobble. My money is on something being wrong with the tires not some mod done to the truck.Bearings in the difs, trans, whatever don't cause tires to go up and down they would cause a vibration at speed not like you described. And drive shaft problems make the whole truck shake. I've had both of those problems on several scx10's. I've also had your problem. Mine was water in one of the tires and a pinched bead on another. So start with the tires and wheels first. Because after all that's where the problem is.... |

I took it that he was trying to say the tyre speed was up and down not actually moving up and down, good point and another thing for the OP to check.

Have you taken the drive shaft(s) apart ? if they are not realigned properly... it would cause similar issues there are indexing marks on both sides of the drive shafts that must be in alignment. that or make sure the universal pins are in alignment. besides that common issue... could be a whole host of issues causing problems. so more details or a video would be helpful. |
