Default Michael's Built Bronco

I picked up scx10 kit a while back and has been a slow build. Wasn't gonna do a thread on it but decided to put it up anyhow. It's coming along nicely and still have a lot planned for it. Here are some specs and pics.

2012 Jeep Wrangler Kit
Hpi Bronco body
xr converted axle stock width
over/under drive gears
hr lockers
beefed up trans
7950 hitec
cc mmp
Brood Apocalypse motor
r2j links and sliders

It looks a lot more stock than mine does. I went with the full custom southern buggy look. Either way it still looks killer.

Since the 1.9 wheels I want are out of stock, I been messing around with different wheel and foam combo. I have plenty of 2.2 wheels so I thought I'd try them. I like the way they look but will probably swap. I got my light bar installed and put some proline shocks on. After several battery packs, I'm amazed what this rig can do. Here some updated pics.

Little update.... When I first cut down the xr10 uni's I got in a hurry and the end result was a lot of rotational slop between the locker and flatspot on axle. I took my time and cut down some vp vvd's. Now have zero slop at the locker. Got my bumper and winch installed also. This winch is pretty stout. Very nice product!

Did you fabricate that bumper? Or is is a bolt on? If so, what bumper is it?

Great looking rig. Keep up the good work!

Thanks... It is a bolt on made by RC Rock Armor. I did trim 1 1/2 inches off the ends.
