Default 3 Link Keeps coming loose

Just got my SCX10 Rubicon Unlimited and after about 10 mins the front 3 link came out from the mount under the servo plate.

I was able to just pop it back in but...couple mins later of running and it popped out.

Is there a washer or something that the factory forgot to hold it in it's mounting hole?

I belive there is all the parts needed in the parts bag to convert it to 4 link. That would also solve your problem for free.

If you want to keep the 3 link just stick a washer on the end that wont pull through the hole.

Thnx for all the info, think im going to 4 link it from the parts tree, just need to get a screw and nut to attach the fronts to the truss.

My first scale rig, was a little shock at all the parts in such a tight space.

You can use a washer behind the screw so it doesn't pop out but it wont take away the play you will have in time making your axle wobble around.

4 linking is the best fix..go for it

Hardware store should have a 3mm screw and lock nut to install it...Your left however with 2 smaller screws you need to mount the ends..They are really small button head screws and very short..Those might be hard to find at a hardware store...I just cut those extension arms off and filled in the mounting holes with silicone so you don't get water in them

From this

To this.

I was able to mount the truss with the 2 screws that were running through the top of the diff previously.
I don't have screws(RTR didn't come with any, forgot to buy a bundle at the LHS) to attach the extension arms but it seemed sturdy with out extensions screwed in, Ill just silicone the holes like you said.

I had the same issue...bought the vanquish kit linked above and no more problems, and no more wobbly axles.

Lowes had a 4-40 screw and locking nut that worked added a dab of thread lock just to be sure. Ran it for bout 45 mins did really well.

Time to relocate the battery to the front and then take her to the trails in the next couple days and see what it can do.
