I used the MIP kit 10145 see my thread here --> MIP Driveshaft you will run into some issues but it can be resolved MIP now makes a kit specifically for the SCX10's with the WB8 driveshafts, the kit # is 13360 Axial 1:10 SCX10 Kits #AX90022, #AX90027, #AX90028, #AX90034 | Page 1 of 1 |

The honcho and the rubicon are the same WB so these should fit Junfac Honcho Drive shaft Last edited by pickled; 01-08-2014 at 07:46 AM. |

i seen that as well, but something about the design concerns me, it looks like there are rings holding the cross pins in the shafts, is that a metal ring or a rubber o-ring and how durable is the ring if something hits it while the shaft is spinning?

It's a metal snap ring. The kit came with extra ones.I thought about putting some heat shrink tube over them to help keep them in place

| Re: rubicon steel driveshafts I ran junfacs on my wraith till I broke them and upgraded to MIPS. I had the rocks peel those rings out of their groove a couple times. There is also a set screw like mip has but the pin doesn't have a flat for the set screw to engage like mip does. They also don't slide in themselves very well when they have torque applied. The upside is that they are way lighter than MIPS.

I run the MIP shafts on my Rubicon and had no issues ,swhatsoever. The wheelbase is the same as Honcho so i don't see what the issue would be.
