cool rear cage

I want to duplicate the original cage
so I can still use the original bed molding
and my dinky bedsides.

thanks... but it's only partially my design.

I purchased some pre-bent bumper pcs. (both FR/Rr)
from Mattzilla, that he designed/offers for fitment to the Hilux bodies.
His design is too narrow for the Honcho body...

so they were slightly modified for my wants/needs
so they would fit to the Honcho body.

kinda difficult for these intricate miniature projects.

Yeah I read thru that already.

but you probably don't want my criticism....
even if it were constructive. Lol

as long as it works for you... it's all good

@ zonkerd ...nice work

Edit: initial search failed to locate a similar thread

but in searching further... I did find one that is similar.

so here's that link to: another "custom bumper" thread

Original scx I got when they first came out, I made F & R bumpers out of 3/16" solid rod and shelving brackets(that slide right over the ends of the frame) All mig welded.

This is the only good pic I have of the rear, it's an old pic but still relevant.

And the front. Also not a bad shot of the home brew sliders.
