I made a carbon fiber tray for.my electronics to sit on. I run a CMS and have the CF tray go around it. The ESC, receiver, NEC are all on it. Nothing over the rear. Battery sits cross the chassis right in front of the motor.

Everything upfront currently

Soon as I get a servo wire extension my radio box will be moved to the rear of the truck , my battery will be moved to behind the front shock tower

this is how it was the other day...

but change seems to be a constant theme.
this time... it's 'cause homebrew F/R steel tube bumpers dictate that.

Saddle pak style battery mount(s) will likely remain
tho' steel slider(s) will likely replace the plastic units eventually.

RX box and ESC were placed on top the forward mounted alloy battery plate
this position raises the electronics higher up and will enjoy less muck.
All my electronics are waterproofed, so no worries there.
But the RX box is not yet sealed.

The low mounted LiPo's
offset any COG issue/weight of the increased mounting height of the electronics.
* electronic stuff don't weigh much anyways !?

* in process...

Nothing ground breaking, prefer my battery up front. Electronics on the sides on some fabbed plates that bolt to the sliders. Just makes it easier to wrench on imo.

I used saddle pack batteries to aid in getting the lowest CG possible without added weight of using 2 2s packs and still keep a good power capacity.(4800mah)
