| wraith axles for the scx10
just as the title says. Im going to do a thread that shows how to make wraith axles shorter without having to make a custom axle shaft. These use the stock short axles from the wraith on both sides.106mm i believe I ordered another ill take pics of how I did it. Jc Auto Design is making a custom 4 link and shock mount from 1 piece. |

What's the benefits of using Wraith axles on a SCX10? Just curious. Are they beefier?

| Re: wraith axles for the scx10 Stronger housing, removable diff cover makes service easier, stronger axles drop in with no mods, lower link mounts offer more options for mounting etc etc. Plus I fawking hate ax/six axles. |

| Re: wraith axles for the scx10 Couldnt have said it better myself. Also scale looks. You can change axles or gears without taking it out of the truck too.

| Re: wraith axles for the scx10 They are quite a bit wider tho and you need to use bent links to clear the drive shaft. with the mod im doing ill be able to drop them in place of the stock axles with no changes at all.

Aha, that sounds good. I'm trying to piece together a SCX10, now I might need to look at Wraith axles.

I am def watching this mod. I like the idea of the wraith axles too but don't want them that wide (stock width)

Not yet I'm waiting on parts. I'll pick up a wraith axle at the hobby shop Thurs and do a step by step walk through. This is going to depend on the mounts JC auto makes for mounting it but there like 10 bucks I think.. So plan for thursday night.
