Default Newbright JK body onto scx10 help

So i removed the interior just to get it mounted so i could use it for a bit but now i want to put the interior back in, looking for some help on getting it done,i dont want the body to high. I flipped the tranny around and it looks like if i cut part of the tranny off i can fit the spur gear up by the console of interior. Am i in the right track here? i dont want to cut stuff if its not gonna work.

From what I remember...You'll have to cut out some of the interior out to get it to fit correctly.Start with what you know will have to come out then go little by little as you test fit it.

Look at mine page 66 1.9 pics its on a rtr rubicon no cutting of interior. my spur is in the space of front seat you will have to make longer links for front and bumper will need mods. I might have shortend rears some. My main goal with it was no cutting of interior at all. And did not flip tranny.
