Default slow progress G6 recovery vehicle.

After building a wraith and taking it to our local craw / comp location and pulling lines I was told were impossible I've decided to reconfigure it a little and give it to my wife. I will be rebuilding her scx10 into a recovery vehicle for myself. Heres my hunting rig im using for inspiration. (Its a little rough, been in the trees a little while.)

Being a Dodge fan really like the hunting rig. Going to build my SCX to look like the Ramcharger I'm building.

The rig is a beast. Top speed of 50mph@redline crawls slower than I walk. I've literally let it idle in 1st, got out, watered a bush and walked back upto it and jumped in. The 44"AG's on it are about 46-48" after a quick run down the highway to a lodge for lunch (back when it was licensed and road legal.)

I know one thing about this upcoming build. It will be heavy. The drivetrain will be bulletproof. It will have to have a couple winches. And like the hunting rig , the jib poles will mount to the bumper as well as the bottom of the headache rack. I have a lot of time to brainstorm howmI'm going to accomplish this one. Im as usual stuck at work for another 2 to 3 weeks.

Look forward to see it when it's done. I've been stuck inside for the last 3 weeks watching my son while my wife is out of town so I've plenty if time researching my next rc build.

Whats up with VP being out of stock on everything I need. Was about to drop some coin on curries , full ti link kit w cms and panhard goodies. 5 omf 1.9's knuckles n chubs as well as xvd's. Would have been nice to have them waiting at home for me when I got there.

I may go with the honcho taco cab with a flat / utility bed and use the ar60 axles to mimic a 1 ton axle conversion. I already have a full wraith ti link kit with panhard bar. Just need the cms for the scx chassis.

Will the scx10 cms work with the wraith panhard and axle setup? On the scx chassis in a wroncho setup?

This build is because my daughter who just turned 6 giggle with glee at the wheel of mommas or my scalers and in true g6 fashion I want daddys rig to be able to pull her out and or tow her home when she gets in trouble. I kinda like the idea of having a rig with all the recovery gear built in or attached to it. I already daydream about pull palls , tree savers, multi snatchblock rigging etc.

The idea that there will be no walking over to pick it up and figuring out the best way to rig up a recovery is almost an adventure in itself.
Perhaps my wife and daughter will have a better understanding of what it is like in the 1:1 world.

Has anyone mixed and matched the scx10 cms and panhard mount with the wraith linkage for panhard bar and steering linkage? I dont have my rigs in front of me or id check for myself.

No one has tried this?
On a positive note I may have aquired a sizeable space to setup a fabrication and maintenance bay. This is exciting. Im sue ive got over a month of installation and fabrication of tooling alone.
Fingers crossed.

Going a slightly different direction with this one. It'll most likely be in the wraith section under my wraith build.
