| Green cups in the bag?
I have had my scx10 rtr for a while now and ever since i opened the packet i have been puzzled by the two green cups that come with it. The only thing i could think of was that they were a jack or axle stand of some sort, but they dont fit! So what are they? |

They are course markers or gate markers

The green cups you talking about are actually gate markers. Their used for marking a crawling trail and obstacles.

Make your own for free. Go to a tennis court/center. Ask if they have any tennis balls they are recycling, they usually do. A friend of mine who's a tennis freak say that a can of tennis ball is good for a game only (I find that shocking and costly). Then they use them for practice but not for long. Then they toss them. Most tennis places have buckets to hold the balls for recycling. Grab as much as you can and bring them home, cut them in half with a sharp serrated knife. Bingo! Instant free markers! WARNING: please fashion a jig to cut the balls. One slip and there goes your fingers. I took some scrap plywood and built a holder/cutter. Think bagel holder/cutter. |

This is probably the funniest thread name i have seen in this forum, the funny thing is i had the exact same reaction when i saw the "cups" in the bag. I was completely new to crawling and it was not till maybe a few weeks later when i recognized the cups in a competition being used as gates that i finally realized what the hell they were used for.

Its amazing how many people dont know what they are lol. Axial should put them in a separate bag and label what they are.
