Default front scx10 suspension with ar60 question

guys i have a question.

i built my blue ford about 4 years ago.

when the suspension compress the front end wants to push to the right (when faceing the front end).can anyone tell me how to fix this?


im runing a diy cms kit.with a panhard bar.

also how do yall guys centerd the ar60 axles up?

My cms does the same thing and from what I have read it's a normal thing...

Running CMS with a pan hard bar will force the axle to one side under compression, this prevents extreme bump steer, like what you get running 4-link and CMS. If you keep the tie rod and pan hard at the same angle, it keeps everything from binding up under flex.

Also, if your panhard is excessivly short or at a steep angle, your axle will have a ton of side to side movement under compression.

Get your panhard as long as you can, but also get your panhard angle as close to flat as you can while at ride hight. This effectivly lowers the distance the panhard has to travel during suspension movement. Get the upper drag link to the same length and angle of the panhard and you should have little to no bumpsteer

thanks guys,

it has a bit of bump steer,and has no side to side play.had to adjust it last night...now just waiting on a servo to come in.
