DAMN! That is a slick setup, I really like the way you put that together. Do the rear cab posts just go through the body or is there some sort of receiver attached to the body to strengthen it?

From the looks of the first couple pictures it looks like he has a plate fastened to the body. Super clean setup I like the cross member wish I could tig weld.

Thanks for the comments guys.

To answer the question about the rear body mounts. There is a double plate on the back of the cab to prevent the posts from ripping the lexan. I will provide the costumer with something that looks a lot cleaner but does the same thing.

So there is. I was too busy looking at the alignment marks on the hoop for center and noticing how everything lines up correctly side to side to see that simple plate bolted on.

Beautiful fab work. If I need anything done I'll be in touch.

I've always liked the Honcho... And might build one next. THat's bed design really got my gears cranking, but I don't think I can afford that right now. Lol

the whole back half is welded up and ready to go, I will get some pics up tonight of it. I still need to make the front bumper to go with this build and then it's off to powder coat and then out in the mail.

Really great work, what do you typically charge for something like this?

I'm considering a tube frame to go on the back of a Hardbody body, I just need to figure out how to cut the back off and replace it with lexan/acrylic sheet.
