Re: Weekend Warrior The start of the front bumper. The winch is offset to the drivers side the tubing is straight. Going to add a couple braces to the top.http://i1240.photobucket.com/albums/...psslvpk6ut.jpg |
Re: Weekend Warrior |
Re: Weekend Warrior I really need to learn to braze.. Looks good, smooth bends and joints. |
Re: Weekend Warrior Quote:
Thank you, I just use a cheap tubing bender and the joints actually flow pretty easy. Made the rear bumper, after spending 2 more days in the hospital. Gallstones are killer...http://i1240.photobucket.com/albums/...psgkdmxtbi.jpg |
Re: Weekend Warrior Now that one is sick.. Yeah I would like to learn some tricks from you sometime. From what I've read it's a lot like soldiering copper pipe and I do a ton of it for work.. Still would be nice to see your skills at work. Sorry to hear about the gallstones, any trip to the hospital sucks balls.. Hope your good to go now though.. |
Re: Weekend Warrior Quote:
As for the hospitals yeah I hate them but they can be advantageous, I am not 100% more like 90%. Otherwise feeling pretty good. You up for crawling Sunday? |
Re: Weekend Warrior Well you were laying on your butt having hot nurses bathe you, I've been hard at work getting my stuff ready for the adventures to come.. Rubi is ready to take on some trails.. Sunday could work and I will get back to you.. Saturday is our anniversary so I'm not sure if I'll be around yet. Where you thinking? |
Re: Weekend Warrior No go man.. It's fathers day this sunday. |
Re: Weekend Warrior Quote:
Congratulations on the anniversary, if you are avalible to crawl that would be great, but put the wify first! Edit, no problem Sunday following? |
Re: Weekend Warrior Took the wife and dogs up to Lolo peak today, trail was meh,. A lot of smooth dirt with a few water bars thrown in and a couple roots. |
Re: Weekend Warrior Put a few scale accessories on the back.http://i1240.photobucket.com/albums/...psevoubylg.jpg |
Re: Weekend Warrior Looks good other then everything being red.. :ror: How you feeling and have you been able to get out? Had some fun running up rattlesnake today, was nice to finally get out with my truck but then it also showed me I have a lot to do to get it where I want it.. |
Re: Weekend Warrior Haven't made it out since 2 Sunday's ago. Feeling good, going in for surgery on the 3rd, outpatient:-) . Had my parents in town last weekend, been working overnights, ect. ext. Got promoted at work, small raise with 7am-4pm hours, still Thursday and Sunday off. I have been itching to get out lately. Might go after work on Tuesday if I can find someplace not under water;-) |
Re: Weekend Warrior Congrats with your work, 7-4 is great hours if you ask me.. Yeah I'm already looking forward to next weekend. Till then I have a few things to get started on with mine. |
Re: Weekend Warrior Got her out for the first time since my surgery. Got eaten alive by mosquitoes and allergy's are killing me... Had fun anyway. http://i1240.photobucket.com/albums/...psv5k6fq5x.jpg http://i1240.photobucket.com/albums/...psmyvdmgrf.jpghttp://i1240.photobucket.com/albums/...psmswk5f4u.jpg http://i1240.photobucket.com/albums/...psezu51vt4.jpg |
Re: Weekend Warrior And this is why you don't drive in the grass and mud. I did have the truck buried up to the frame rails in mud lol. http://i1240.photobucket.com/albums/...psrbiutqkt.jpg Out of the the six bearings at the wheels in the front axle five are shot, three are completely frozen and the other two are really gritty. Stock axial bearings. The undamaged one is a traxxas rubber sealed. |
Re: Weekend Warrior That thing is looking great. The trails you showed look really nice too. What part of the country is it? If I had to guess it would be east of the Mississippi somewhere around the Mason Dixon line. |
