Arrow F-350 and Portal Axles

After buying a unassembled scx10 kit truck off a fellow member and only using the axles for another truck, im finally using the rest of the kit! I assembled the frame, trans, bolted an aluminum bumper and axial 27 turn I had laying around, and used a frame mounted servo I just picked up. As for the axles, I was only able to bolt the front on til the body comes in. Im deffinently using the wheels in the pics but may end up with a taller tire. Anyway, here you go.................................

That's cool. It's nice to try something out of the norm. I put the Gmade R1 axles on my Wraith and the Losi Comp Crawler axles on my Honcho. Both were an easy swap.

Looks good, have the same set up, you may have already fabbed one, but if not you will definitely need a panhard set up for the front.

Any way you could lower it, looks good but centre of gravity will be very high.

Once the boggers come in, i'll see how much clearance there is. Im hoping I can change out the springs for softer ones so the shocks will sag a little more.

So the bead locks wouldn't hold the bead on the boggers so I decided to try these cheap china rockstar knock offs

So I been tweaking with this truck, now finishing it up. I did end up changing the wheels to the SSD D-hole beadlocks. I will say they look great and easy to use.

Finally decided on electrics lay out. The only thing that will change in the feature is battery location. Ill eventually get the trey that mounts it over the frame rails in front of the transmission. Also black bumpers to come and final body mount.

Those axles are sweet. with some luck and more experience in the hobby I'd love to see a set on my scx10.
Very nice build.

Portals are great! Really noticeable in snow and tall rocks.

Added the Axial red super-soft springs to the rear. Its a little lower in the back and deffenently flexes better. Also, the AE-5 esc crapped out. Lucky me already had a RC4WD Outcry I just bought new from a fellow member.
