Default Predator track & motor/gearing info ?

I just received some predator tracks and the stock rtr honcho is slow and very doggy. Looking for a lil more speed but don't wanna burn anything up. What u guys suggest or motor and gearing? I do have and 18.5 Novak just don't know if it will be better or how to gear it

I don't know if this will help but I have Integy tracks and i had alot of heat problems, but now I run dual 21 turn motors (brushed) with 23t pinion and 88t spur. that gets me about walking speed without burning things up.

Looking for some speed like a stock 27t in and axial. Can anyone help cuz it's so slow nit even walking speed and gets hot

I know we're on different pages of the same book but I just swapped out for a traxxas stinger 20t with the same gearing and it made a world of difference. I didn't think a faster motor would have the torque to move the tracks but it did. Its faster than walking speed, but not so fast i'm busting up my drivetrain. I could post a vid of you want.
