I use "Moly" grease. But I have expensive taste. You can use any auto grease you want....marine grease if you think you need the extra protection but i dont think you will

I use the red Mobil 1 automotive grease. It's full synthetic, is semi-waterproof, and for what you pay for a tiny tube of "RC" grease, you can get a 1 pound tube that will last for years.....I usually try to find an automotive or household type product before shelling out the buck for RC lubes and fluids. Many work just as well or better than RC, and for the same money you can get quantities that will last forever. About the only RC grade product I use is shock oil just because you can tune the suspension with different grades of oil....

So I got a pound of marine grease. Just throw that on the gears and I should be good?

I use white lithium (marine) grease. Water proof, doesn't attract dust, easy to clean up during overhauls, you can easily visibly see if it's been contaminated or not, it's VERY plastic friendly, and it actually stays where I put it. I used to use red automotive grease, but noticed it dries up quickly and turns into sticky little goo balls in the corners and pockets of my trans/axles, leaving them with little to no lube after only a few runs.
