Default Serpent's SCX-10 JK

Here is a thread dedicated to my SCX-10 JK. I will update it as I upgrade the truck.

The truck is basically stock right now. I have added Junfac wheel wideners, Jevne Racing battery plate, Holmes 27t motor, Castle Creations Sidewinder 3 and a Hitec 5645 servo.

Let me know what you think!

Some red accents parts

Scale registration and inspection stickers, TSH sticker also!

Junfac wheel wideners

Whole chassis

Flipped and mirrored transmission, Holmes 27t motor

Jevne Racing battery plate, Castle Creations Sidewinder 3 ESC

Bunch of scale accessories from TSH!

That's awesome. Now you just need to keep updating the inspection every year with the right color. lol

I got my Axial light kit yesterday. Since it comes with 4 white LED's and 2 red LED's, I decided to put the red ones in the rear bumper. At first, I put 2 white ones in the front bumper, but didn't know where to put the other 2 white ones. So today I went to my LHS looking to get the Axial light buckets, but they didn't have them. They did have a RPM light canister set, so I bought that. I cam home and took the 2 white LED's out of the front bumper. I decided to just mount all 4 white LED's into the RPM set, and mount that to the front bumper. Now I need another light kit for the headlights, then eventually more for a roof rack or light bar.

Here are some pics!

Looks great man! I'll have to check out Top Shelf Hobbies, it seems like they have some great scale stuff for sale.

Is there any particular reason why your tie rod is like how it is?

They are the stock plastic hooks, painted black. Same with the spare tire nut.

Looking good!

That's a nice touch, painting the spare tire handle to match the shackles - might have to borrow that offers..

Have you got the scale accessories mounted up yet?
