Default Wroncho

anybody have an idea of the most common problems building a wroncho? is it better to use the wraith skid or scx10 skid and bend the links to fit? seems to me the wraith skid would be better and maybe a bit easier.

Thanks!

I suggest using the scx skid and making ur links or 3linking it. depending what body you use u might have a problem with body posts cuz the frame is so wide

I have done it both ways. With scx10 skid you will need to bend links to clear the drive shaft and with the wraith skid I wanted to use wraith links to so I had to move the body back to line up wheel wells and bend a U shaped bracket to extend the frame a bit to clear the servo. I also needed to use the wraith trans for the longer output or you could make a longer driveshaft probably. I'm not sure if you could just use shorter links up front.

i used the wraith skid so i didnt have to bend the links all funny and then made shorter links to get the wb i wanted. the best thing to do is try both skids and see which works better for your application.

I used Wraith links and SCX skid. Didn't have to bend a thing and the wheels line up perfectly and everything clears.

Hate to bring up an older thread, but in your last pic of the underneath with the wraith links. The way the lowers are mounted on the outside of the frame rails. does it night bind or rub when it articulates?
