| Tekin 17.5 brushless?
So I'm doing a build and I have a brand new tekin rs 2 17.5 brushless motor and esc. Are these any good for crawling and trails or should I sell it off and stick with brushed? I either want to use what I have or sell off what I have to get the appropriate electronics. My only other option is the xl5esc with a 27 turn axial motor.

That is the combo I have in one of my rigs and it works good for me. You might need a Tekin Hot wire to set the drag brake and forward to reverse with no delay. Try it and see how you like it.

It's a great combo you won't be disappointed as long as you run the sensor wire you are fine.

Got a gen 1 and love it. Timing advance is setup like a 2 speed. Great low end and enough top end to keep me happy.
