| Scx10 Ram 1500 (Pro-Line)
Haven't seen any threads figured i would start it off, Added scale compressor to it i still need mirrors and spare tire holder in the pictures is just a mock up. I love the way the body lines up i have it very low and it still clears some if not all obstacles way the go Pro-Line. Only thing i hate is how paint seeped into the damn tape but oh well. If you have one already feel free to post it in here |

Looks great! I posted pics of mine in the picture thread. It's a dark gray.. I think page 126. When I painted the fenders, bed, and the door area in black I painted on the outside when I cut and peeled away the masking film. I know it can be scratched but it can be easily touched up. It made some nice, true lines. Last edited by slow1500; 10-23-2014 at 04:43 PM. |

I am waiting on my body to get here. After looking at yours, I am going to have to cut off the front and rear bumpers. The truck looks great, can't wait until mine shows up.

Hello, is there a realistic chance to get scale looking light into the body? best regards |

Slow-go did it using corners and scraps of lexan. Careful cutting and gluing, ended with some fantastic light buckets. My next Honcho |

New shoes! Hot racing steel beadlocks with Rc4wd hex adapters and stainless pc screws. A new set of Rok Lox 1.9s. Not only are they 1/4 inch taller than the ones I took off but they are a much stickier compound. I'm not sure what they changed but it's for the good. CI Lil nova dual stage foams. |

Hey guys first post... Finished mine off a week ago and I'm super happy with it. Built the roll bar out of a G6 jeep cage. What do you think?

I kinda re-read the thread and I'll fill everyone in on how I mounted the lights inside the body, however hokey it may be... After removing the masks for the lights I put down a glob of shoe-goo and placed the leds where I wanted them, then I sculpted buckets out of shoe-goo right over top and let it dry. After the glue dried I backed the "buckets" with black plasti-dip. When the leds are off the lights look just like smoked lenses. The shoe-goo dries clear and is invisible through the body and the glass on the led blends in with it and disappears. For the tail-lights it was a couple coats of tamiya red and then the same procedure with red leds. In person the tails light up evenly in a nice red, not just at the bottom like in the pic. | |
