|  Who makes the strongest front CVD's?
I bought a set of front CVD's from STRC and one of them snapped. So I'm trying to find out who makes a good strong set of front CVD's. Thanks

Vanquish VVD's.. SCX10 VVD V1-HD 4mm - Vanquish Products besides the 300 cvd's..nothing comes close. |

Ohh that's right... my bad. I'm still running them in Melons. Axial and VP are your only choices. Sorry about that. (I have a stock of old ass shit that no one makes anymore!) |

ive got a set in the honcho(mip)and some spare rebuild parts i managed to find on ebAY.. The ol'tundra has been eating Axial cvd's like candy.. It got some VVD's..we'll see how long it takes with them. Last edited by ROLANDROCKSHOP; 12-10-2014 at 05:12 PM. |

Don't count out this version of the XVD's. Much better than the older version, been running them in a couple trucks for over 6 months. RC4WD Extreme Duty XVD Axles for Axial / AX10 / Honcho / Dingo / Rubicon Axles (Scorpion, SCX10) |

Sorry for the jack, but will the vanquish cvd's fit the stock plastic scx10 c hubs and knuckles? Do these cvd's give greater steering angle when compared to the axial cvd's? |

Yes they will.. and should fit any chub/knuckle. Axial vs VP..  BIG difference.. |

Thanks ROLANDROCKSHOP! The drive shaft definitely looks thicker. Can't seem to see if it would give more steering angle compared to the axial..... |

you can push the vp with a bit more epa setting than the axial cvd.

I am very unhappy with the STRC cvd's! I had some axial before, and was annoyed how easily the cross pins snapped. Tried these STRC ones because the cross pin is a significant increase in size over the axial ones. The STRC did not even last 47 gates at yesterday's GSRCC run. I broke one axle at the ball....threw in stock axle to finish, and the other STRC let go at the next gate, unfortunately it also bound up and snapped the end of my axle housing off as well. Definitely going to run VP only from here on out.
